Ender Prospecting

In Minecraft, we can observe that redstone can be used to "tune" objects. In a compass, it tunes iron to the initial spawn point. In a clock, gold is tuned to the sun. We can also observe that an Ender pearl, when given a fuel source (blaze powder), tends to fly toward its home (The End). Theoretically, we can then tune an Eye of Ender with redstone to think an ore is its home. If we then bind enough of these tuned Ender pearls together, it will pull strongly enough to be felt but not leave your hand. Furthermore, if we then bind even move together, the pull may even be felt from one's inventory.

Craft Eyes of Prospecting, then tune them to an ore, and right click them to search for that ore. Tune enough Eyes of Prospecting and you can tune a Talisman of Prospecting, which is reusable but has a smaller range. Tune enough Talismans of Prospecting and you can tune a Totem of Prospecting, which doesn't require being right-clicked but has an even smaller range.
