Dots after every letter on signs

I recently had all these dots appear under my text on signs. I know there's no sphax textures visible but it is the sphax resourcepack font that is being used and I think it might be related to that. I recently switched the font to the alternate one that is included with the pack. After switching it back to the normal font all these dots started appearing on my signs. Sometimes they appear and at other times they don't. It's completely random. I am on 1.7.10 by the way.

There are a lot of erroneous dots on the MC1.7 ascii.png. Not sure why it would happen "at random" though.

You could try and use the ascii.png from the MC1.8 pack instead.

My ascii was from 1.8, I was using the resourcepack on 1.7 with my personal modpack and that's where it happens. No idea why a mod would cause this though. I have now taken out all my custom textures and put them in the 1.7 sphax pack. The bug still appears. After experimenting around a bit it would seem the dots appear and dissapear when moving around when the sign is in my field of view, most of the time they'd dissapear when I move a certain distance away from the sign. If it's indeed a mod then I'm hoping you could help me out finding which mod it is. Here's my list of my current mods.

No idea, sorry. Not heard of the dots just randomly appearing before.

I'd try taking out some of the more "superfluous" mods such as shaders, worldedit, camerastudio (i.e. the ones that won't break your save if you remove them) and see if the issue is resolved. If that doesn't work, and no one else has any bright ideas, you may just have to live with it.

I seem to have fixed it, I loaded my map in vanilla and then deleted a few mods that would otherwise break my save, anime battle weapons, animationAPI and mutantcreatures (didn't need them anyway) after reloading the map on my modpack everything modded I placed down is completely broken but that's the only downside. dots are gone. So it must've been one of those three mods. :)
