Hi Ive got a R9 270x Graphics Card
64 Bit java
A10 5800k Processor 3.80 ghz

what resolution would you recommend?

One of the most useful bits of information you can provide is the amount of system RAM you have, which you didn't

Regardless, considering how laggy MC1.7 is in general I'd recommend 64x.

Ok thank you I did some tests and put 128x on and my whole pc froze from a lack of ram if I had 16gb would I be able to run 128x with no lag?

You'd likely be able to run it... no idea if you'd have no lag though.
