Can someone make a patch for magical crops http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/163 ... ed-091213/ (I know theres a patch for it but that patch is old and outdated)

Seconded from me. I love the mod; would love to have the Magical Sphaxical textures to go with it!

I've actually been working on making a 1.6.4 x128 patch for Magical Crops from the old/outdated one for the past few days, and am finally FINISHED with it! I've been using the original by ClockworkHearts (http://bdcraft.net/forum/magical-crops-151-128x) as a base and just filling in what wasn't there before, following the original designs on the seeds and essences and crops and stuff, and recoloring them, etc.

I've renamed all of the used original files and got everything working. I've also created the missing items by using some other Sphax items as a base.

Have I been breaking any rules doing this, since I didn't create the original textures or patch in the first place? I really don't want to be stepping on anybody's toes!

This is what the Sphax community is all about. As long as you give credit for the original textures from the previous author everything should be fine. It is actually encouraged to use existing textures to keep the same feel throughout all the mods.

Do you have a dropbox link to your current version? Maybe you can put it up on the WIP thread. I was thinking of starting a magical crops patch myself this weekend, but if you already have one completed then I may look at agriculture instead.

I just this moment set up a dropbox account (yup, never done it before...) I'll read the rules and stuff about posting on the WIP page and see if I can do that today.

Also if it is 100% done then it can be moved to the releases page. One of the first sticky posts has a sample post of what it needs to contain. Ie mod description, link to the mod on minecraft, preview images, download links etc etc

I'd get it to WIP first so people can download it and give feedback.

Thanks, Bonaire. It is actually 100% done, but as you said, I'll post it on the WIP page for feedback and stuff like that.

I'm just trying to kind of figure out how to use the tags and everything correctly in the "Full Editor" thing... I'm having a heckuva time trying to just format a download button! (Sheesh, I feel like such an idiot! hahah)
