Memory Crash/Loss

I'm pretty sure I downloaded the wrong Pure texture pack because my computer can't handle it and now I can't get out of memory crash/loss. Ive tried many things but it doesn't seem to work. I'm using a mac. I really need help.

I imagine you've done this by now, but delete the resourcepack from the resourcepacks folder.

If it still crashes open your options.txt in your minecraft folder and change line 18 to just read:
