Greetings,
I've got a question about the alternative textures of mobs. Is there a way to add for example a new zombie texture and then summon exactly this zombie without the randomness? e.g. I've five different zombies and can spawn a specific one with a command block?
Another question would be if it's possible to add completely new models without replacing exiting ones just by using texture packs. I'm not talking about an AI, just the model.

1) No idea. You'd need to ask the guy who made Optifine, sp614x, either in the
mod thread or the
github.
2) Yes. You just need to load another resourcepack above the PureBDcraft one with the altered files (if you mean the mob models, still yes, with Optifine, using its new model system -- again you'd need to refer to the Optifine places for that info).

Re: 1, No, I don't believe that's possible. As far as I'm aware, the texture change is only visual, and the game doesn't recognise that, so it wouldn't be possible to have different summonable textures. (Though they can be modified by which biome they're spawned in, so you may be able to to harness that somehow, I'm not sure.)
