I have never had any luck with the IC2 patch, when I ran it on 1.7.10 it would freeze as soon as startup hits the main menu, now I try it on 1.10 and it freezes on Completing Minecraft Initialization no matter what Resolution I try

Your client log would be useful.

They're usually in your .minecraft folder (the one above the resourcepacks folder) and then in the logs folder. Copy the contents of the latest files to somewhere like https://pastebin.com

Update: Ok the current issue wasn't the IC2 patch, but rather my client doesn't like to run Sphax unless it's just the resource pack alone, and this problem has only come up on 1.10, on previous version i've never had any problems with Sphax other than the IC2 patch problem I meantioned where it freezes on the main menu

1.10 likes to hang on start if your client doesn't have enough memory. Try assigning more.

That might work cause when this happens cause I did notice on the task manage it's trying to pull more memory than what I have assigned, of course I have to be careful cause i've got half my memory assigned already
