Would be nice if anyone is able to help me convert a 1.6.5 patch for Sphax millenaire into a usable 1.7.10 version because at the moment it isn't working well at all. I've looked at some of my other patches (that are actually 1.7.10) and have followed the same resource pack layout when converting the millenaire patch however when I get in game and I use the millenaire patch no textures are changing.
(and yes I am using enough ram - 7gbs)
Any help is appreciated.
:)

You need to open the the mods jar and copy the layout from in there.

Usually /assets/[modname]/ and then a series of a folders such as blocks, items, gui, etc.

1.6.5?

First of all, there's no such Minecraft version, unless you mean Beta 1.6.5, which would be considerably more difficult to convert textures from.

Second, if you're referring to PantherX's patch from the archived threads, I'm fairly sure it was only up to 1.5.x - the last post in that thread is stamped "10 June, 2013", but MC 1.6.1 released July 1, 2013

Third, I've posted a WIP patch for Millenaire for 1.7.10 that includes oblisgr's somewhat more recent work, so you no longer have to:
