Connected textures for 1.8?

Hello everyone. I was wondering if a connected glass textures for 1.8 will be coming out.
And if they will be, when?
There is 9 versions of OptiFine out now at https://optifine.net/downloads.php.

Sphax is aware that MCPatcher and Optifine are out for MC1.8.

All the patcher extra - CTM, RandomMobs, etc. - are likely to be come in a separate download.

There is currently no ETA.

I found that you can just copy the mcpatcher folder from the 1.7 texture pack of your same resolution into the 1.8 texture pack. There were so many pictures in it that I had to delete a couple of the subfolders, but unless you're on 32-bit windows also, you should be fine doing that.
