Post subject: Glass with Boarders
Hey there,
I really like sphax! But I'd really like the glass to have the boarder like the default glass does in PureBDcraft pack, could someone help me out with that and help me get connected textures working for it too?
I'd really appreciate that or any help at all!

This thread is confusing. What glass are you using that is missing borders? (i.e. what mod is it from?)

Just the default games glass, no mods regular vanilla. I might have placed this in the wrong forum area. I didn't know where to put the thread. My bad!

Now I'm even more confused - you said you wanted it to have borders "like the default glass does in PureBDcraft pack". If it's already default glass, how can those borders be missing? A screenshot might help to clarify what you mean.

Let me try to explain one last time! The stained glass, is boarderless where the default glass has a boarder/housing around it. Here is a screenshot. I hope this works. :?

Stained glass. Now I understand. You could have said that to begin with. According to the changelog, those borders were removed back in the 1.8 pack, so you might be able to pull in the textures from 1.7 PureBDCraft to get stained glass with borders (I don't understand why the old textures for these weren't kept under the blocks_alt folders, which would have allowed HanFox to offer them via the customizer). However, in 1.7.10 PureBDCraft with Optifine does not offer connected textures on the stained glass, so I'm not sure how to get that part working.
Possibly Sphax didn't feel that conected textures support was worth the effort or the extra files - 1.7 uses 123 image files for connected glass textures, and 1.9 brought it down to 94 (47 in the "frame" subfolder, 47 in the "shine" subfolder), but that's just for clear glass - I'm guessing that doing it for stained glass would take that many files for each of the 16 colors.
