Since Project Red got a official new release today, I started working on this again :D
Doing 128x items right now and already have the storage blocks done :P

With this new update, gates now check for the redstone torch texture to put onto the gate and also has (I believe) two different forms, fancy and normal. With fancy being the 3D one.
Can someone help me with texturing the gates? I'll be doing the items + blocks 128x and you'll probably see the release at the end of the week if not sooner :D

Also, if you start creating textures. Make them in 128x or higher (if you want), that is what I'll also be doing from now on.

Ummm, apparently you guys don't have to wait xD
128x is done already... well not everything, the wires are 64x still (will take longer), the gates aren't done whatsoever, the lanterns also not and 1 item which I'll try to get done in a bit :D
Also, I 'created' this texture for the debugger item in 128x will be in 64x patch soon:

P.S. Hanfox, how did you resize the original wire textures to the higher res? With that tool it looks ugly if I upscale it :/

You never upscale textures. It's not really that resolution if all you've done is made every pixel 2 times bigger.

I took whatever was already available be it in your WIP or the redpower patch and just re-arranged them. I never personally upscaled anything though.

Okay, so gonna release 128x only today, because when I resize the textures down half, which worked before. It resizes to 127x127 instead of 128x128(in vanilla it's 32x so in 128x it's 256x and in 64x it's 128x)Can someone help me with that?

Look at the 128x button and copy that?

I didn't know how to texture the cage lamps, so when I tested the new version out.... they looked lke I wanted them to, cuz it takes textures from the same model as the lanterns :D
Less work for me to do! :D

Hmm, considering using the old pr5 textures of the ruby, sapphire and peridot blocks (from timmie3054) Because Mr_TJP is adding walls, and the outlines across the block won't look good on walls, would they?

Can someone help me out here?
Need textures for the framed part of the wires, tried some stuff. Here's the comparisin (or whatever :P)


I like the 3rd one better, but the texture should not glitch out like that. It should just be a darker border... so I tried the middle one. That was too plain for me, but what do you guys think? Any ideas?

Textures like walls and fences are difficult to do in HD because you generally don't use a repetitive pattern like 16x so don't worry about it.

Gem walls makes no sense anyway...
