Alright, so I am extremely new to minecraft. Been around long enough to understand the in game in and outs of vanilla. But that's it. Absolutely no knowledge of modding, or even texture packs. So it's safe to assume this problem is on my end and possibly not a compatibility issue.

The gist of it, is I tried to install three mods, and 1 texture pack along with forge (Since I was told forge was necessary for modding) For the longest time minecraft wouldn't even start to load and would instead go straight to a crash report. After some heavy google searching I realized it's because one of the mods I had installed was intended for a different version. Upon fixing that, it now goes to start up, but crashes on the starting screen when it says "constructing mods".

I know to change my profile to Forge, and make sure that it's running the right version in the settings and all that.

Information on the issue.

Quick Google search and I found this: https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/su ... ?comment=4

Downgrade your Forge to 1468, I guess.
