Tekkit Classic problems with Sphax Texture

So, I started up Tekkit Classic, and went to 'Texture Packs' and put in my SphaxPure 64x64 like I did for Vanilla minecraft, but my MAC didn't show the folder where I could my 64x64 file???? Anybody know why and who could help me??? PLEASE SAY, really appreciate it!

It depends what you did exactly when you setup the pack. Have you patched it with Tekkit Classic textures, if so how?

The easiest way to install a pack on Macs due to the issue they have with zipping files at times is to make a folder in your Tekkit Classic's texturepacks/resourcepacks folder called something like "sphax". You then open the main PureBD zip and extract the contents in to that sphax folder, then do the same for the Tekkit Classic patch.

Yes, I understand, I downloaded the 64x64 on my MAC and opened tekkie classic, but the texture pack folder didn't show up on my folder??? Thats what I'm asking. I also updated it to the lated version (3.1.3) , but then it just says Minecraft has crashed?

If the texturepack is not showing up in your folder at all that's a problem on your end... However, if you mean the pack doesn't appear on the list of texturepacks inside Minecraft make sure you've actually downloaded the right version of the pack for the version of Minecraft you're using.

If Minecraft is crashing you may need to assign more RAM to your client.
