I think it's a nice idea, but to me it kills what makes it BDCraft. I can see why you would make such a pack, but remember the reason why we installed BDCraft to begin with. It was the best resource pack we've ever seen, and was better than default by a 1 billion universes. Sphax >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Default.

Anyways, this is just my opinion. I think it's nice, but kills what made BDCraft "pure".

Well Sphax didn't make this. MushirMickeyJoe did.

While you might not care for it a lot of people (1, 2) have actually always been somewhat bothered that certain elements aren't just a BDcraft version of the main pack. It's nice to have the choice.

The goal of VanillaBDcraft is to give the choive between personnal interpretation of me (Sphax) or more standard interpretation of Minecraft (Mojang).

VanillaBDcraft can't kill PureBDcraft because one do not replace the other.

If you don't like VanillaBDcraft, use PureBDcraft. And if some things are not enough "Minecrafty" in PureBDcraft, then use VanillaBDcraft. And why not play with both by mixing the things you like in both for private use?

By the way, PureBDcraft is still the main pack of BDcraft.net and will still be updated as early as possible following the snapshots and new versions of Minecraft.

You guys should change the Netherrack that you have in vanilla to pure aswell, the animations in the netherrack you currently have is a pain in my a*s, many lag spikes. I mean i could change it myself but.. =( no 256x version yet =P and the vanilla netherrack looks beautiful, not that the pure doesn't

Hey just dropping by to tell how big a fan i am of this edit, but one thing that i have been wondering about is whether you will make this pack in different resolutions? I personally like a 64x version a lot more, not because of computer issues. I can easily go with a 512x version, I just like the look of a 64x pack. But oh well, I really appreciate both your and Sphax's work, keep it up guys!

Thank you! Other resolutions will be done eventually but it takes a long time and I'm currently sick in bed with the flu so I'm not working on it this instance.
