Hi I have been enyoying this modpack for a week or so now and follow alot of the youtube channels on the official server.

If you also watch BDubs and keralis I found it entertaining how shocked they were when learning about chisel and carpenters blocks.

Along with Forge MicroBlocks, the possibillites are truly endless. except for in AoTB 1.0.6, the chisel mod blocks could not be turned into Microblocks.

So after some googling and digging into the config, I found that you can add mod blocks to the list of microblocks you can make.

I made a list for that microblocks config that would allow all chiseled mod blocks to be used as microblocks! But it wasn't as easy as whipping up a .txt list of ids. with the help of GIMP and BIMP (found on this forum) I had to rename each and every chiseled block in the game to have the suffixes -top, -side, and -bottom respectively (i suppose its how the chisel mod calls up certain faces of the blocks).

Well anyway, if its ok, I can post that config file here. But as for the renamed .pngs for the chisel mod, I do not believe I can link that, as 1) I do not believe I have the rights to redistribute them since there is a whole mash up of different textures from this forum i used to create a custom WIP chisel mod patch for sphax strictly for personal use, and 2) I do not have the time sadly :(.
I did get all the textures from the various WIP packs on this forum if thats any idication of if I can share the folder publically here in the future.

In any case, GennyB if you're readingthis, I think adding the ability to add Chiseled Microblocks to the server, it would send bdubs, keralis and GLIS(forgot about glis!) into space ( wait we can do that already), into the next galaxy. "The posibilities are endless" -keralis lol

*For anyone interested in using the config, I believe you NEED to rename all the chisel textures that are used by the mod to have the suffixes -top, -side, and -bottom, in order for microblocks to recognize a texture for each face, and this is the format chisel apparently uses to differentiate. Some blocks already have the suffixes, so if you use GIMP or BIMP to do batch renaming, you must look through each folder in order to get rid of renduncies assuming you batch renamed the whole assets/chisel/textures/blocks folder (this is to lessen the size of the resource pack since you are tripling the amount of files). Only rename the blocks which you added to the microblock config.

ex. terrain-diamond-gem.png would need to be renamed three times, to terrain-diamond-gem-bottom.png, terrain-diamond-gem-top.png and terrain-diamond-gem-side.png.
EDIT: You can still use the config, but the chiseled microblocks would look all wonky if you dont rename the pngs.

Seems quite interesting really, maybe it can make it far enough to even be implemented into the pack so that it gets destributed to people who really wont mess with their configs.
Nice find anyway!

I can respect that. Its just a simple little edit to a config, I guess if you play on servers then I myself dont want to mess with configs. the real bulk of the work is renaming all the pngs for each block from the chisel mod. Great way to know what you can work with though :P

Whats amazing is that the simple edit generates TONS of pages to NEI tho lol

As you guys probably have seen in Genny's latest episode, the Project Red patch is still unfinished and needs work on the Transportation side of things, I think that is all until it is finished.
If you go over to the Project Red WIP post //
you can see that I already made the pipe textures, the only things needed now are the items (which I am bad at, you don't want to know!)
So if someone could please help with that patch, I would be grateful :P

For those of you who don't use the 128x textures, I took the ones that generikb had that weren't already in the download and downsized them to 64x. Enjoy!

For some reason whenever i patch this onto the 1.6.4 sphax bdcraft and then i try to open it in Attack of the B-team Minecraft pauses for like 5 seconds like it usually does when changing a texture pack and then it does not change to GenerikB's texture pack. But when i patch the normal download it works just fine.
If anyone else is having this problem pls reply. I love generikB's patch and i'd like to use it.
:D

Btw if you've seen the last chimneyswift video fro aotbt he has updated textures with the witchery mod and the mini map anyone know were you can get those
P.S sorry for unorganised post im new :P

Welcome to the forums - I'll be updating all of my packs that I tend to probably by next weekend - going out of town on a caving adventure this weekend, and, gotta get some school work done too :O
