It appears one of the paintings is broken.
I have tried with/without Optifine as well as the 64x64 and 128x128 versions for 1.12r3.
Here is an image of the default painting next to the PureBDcraft painting:

Thanks for the report.
Not sure how that one got missed when the paintings were redone.
