Hello, I've discovered a possible BuildCraft incompatibility with a texturepack for it.

BuildCraft mod works fine with BDcraft texturepack and BuildCraft patch for it. But, if I load Industrial Craft 2 patch for BDCraft texturepack, for some reason, texturepacks are going to default. It happens only if BuildCraft is installed with IC2 patch. Exclude one of these - and you're fine.

I've read that minecraft defaults could be caused by insufficient RAM, but it shouldn't be a problem for me because:

1. I'm giving minecraft a 6GB of RAM
2. I tried to disable all mods and texture packs, except for IC2 patch and CuildCraft mod - same issue.

Funny that BC patch is working fine both with BC and IC2 mods installed.

I'm not familiar with Minecraft modding, but I can assume that some of te BC files files are in conflict with BDCraft texturepack patch for BDCraft. What could be a possible solution?

Mods and etc.:

My Minecraft ver. 1.11.2

My mods are:
Industrialcraft-2-2.7.33-ex111
Buildcraft-7.99.4
OptiFine_1.11.2_HD_U_C2
Forge 13.20.0.2366

My texturepacks are x128 latest BDcraft texturepack with IC2 and BC patches + more 3D blocks and Items. All for Minecraft 1.11*

My texturepacks are the ones that BDCraft.net provides Including BC and IC2 patches for it. I've checked different versions of IC2 pacthes (x64, x128,x256,x512) Doesn't make any difference

You'll need to provide your Minecraft client's log of when the issues happens.

It goes further, creating texture atlases and getting the same stitching error.

Judging by your PureBDcraft version I guess this is MC1.11?

Forge is pretty terrible at getting the resources together now.

Try going in your video options and disabling MipMapping. You might take a small FPS hit.

Yes MC1.11 x128. unfortunately, disabling Mipmapping didn't help. I'm not sure that the problem is related to video settings. Because texturepack are not just not working, they just unload from "Selected Resource Packs"
This works fine:

If I place IC2 patch there and hit Done - they just go default. However, this happens only with BuildCraft mod installed:

I can only imagine that when they're both loaded one is trying to interact with the textures in the other and causing issues.

The BC patch is very out-of-date. You might need to compare it to the textures in the actual BC mod and see if there's anything that's obviously different.

It's outdated, yes, but it's working. Anyway, the problem is with IC2 patch, it's conflicting with BuildCraft for some reason. I could just delete the BC patch, because there's only tubes in there - I can live with that, but IC2 without BDcraft textures? that I can't do. So basically I have to choose either to play without BuildCraft mod at all, or play without IC2 texturepack. So far I prefered the first option, but I hoped there could be a solution to use both.

Your guess might be correct. The BC mod due to its nature should be able to interact with IC2 machines, so perhaps it does something that prevent IC2 patch from loading...That's a shame, really. I like your texturepacks and I hate vanilla IC2 textures - as complex and cool this mod is, as Hideous are it's textures. I guess I will have to live without BuildCraft pipes...
