Hey, I just recently installed the BDcraft resource pack, and it looks great. However, I'm also using the More Swords mod by Darkhax, and on his mod page, he links to a BDcraft texture patch for his swords, which I believe was posted by PantherX. (his link connects to the archived forums, found here: https://bdcraft.net/forum/128x-more-swords-mod-242)

I have tried multiple times to get the texture patch to work, downloading and redownloading the patch, extracting it into the BDcraft pack, and trying to copy the files into the More Swords mod JAR file (which Windows won't let me do.) It seems like MC isn't connecting the texture IDs to the sword IDs in-game. I would love to get this texture on the swords, and this was the best place I could find to post my issue. Please reply with any suggestions/fixes you might have.

Are you using the 1.6 version of the mod?

Those textures are for the 1.5 version of it.

You'll have to look in the mod.jar and match the textures up from the downloaded zip.

Ah, that would probably be the problem. I'm not certain what you're telling me here. Am I going into the mod's jar file and changing the item IDs to match the texture patch? or should I change the patch IDs to match the mod?

You need to change the patch to match the mod's texture layout.

Hm... I'll be honest, I'm pretty new to modding and texture packs, so I don't know how to do that. is there a guide you can point me to? Thanks for your help, It sucks to try and figure this out on your own.

Generally the textures for the most part should be in the assets folder of the mod.jar.

So, with the patch you downloaded you have to just match up the contents of it, to that assets folder.

If you can't figure it out make a Request on the forum and someone might be nice enough to do it for you.
