I'm trying to use the Sphax PureBD Craft texture for tekkit and I have followed all the instructions to the letter on how to do it - I've even redone it twice and I still just get default textures for the special ores. Can anyone help please? in this screenshot you can see the iron and the silver next to each other and the silver texture isn't working - same thing happens with copper and other ores.

O, actually I realized that that is tin that isn't working - it is the Tin, Uranium, and Copper ores that don't show up in the correct texture - the silver actually works - I found some later

The ores show up just fine in their default minecraft skins - the problem I'm having is that they don't show up in the sphax pureBDCraft skins even though I got the Tekkit extras pack for pure BD and added it together like instructed.
What's going on is many of the TP artists have started upgrading their packs for compatibility with later versions of the mods used in Tekkit. This compilation pack is drawing from those later versions without realizing that those versions aren't compatible with the current version of tekkit being used.
Want an example? Check out how the Redpower textures work in Tekkit 2.1.1 vs Tekkit 3.0.3. They work fine in 3, but not 2.
So that's about it.
There's also a few other errors strewn about, but that seems to be the big problem.
Correct, recently the Eclipse Forums went down and we have limited resources so I was forced to use new textures for we don't have access to the old textures, sorry for my absence in the forums, I am going to start working on Tekkit 3.0.3 support in the coming days. So far Tekkit looks as if it is improving, the only thing I don't like is the removal of Forestry and Balkon's Weapons, if anyone gets these working with Tekkit please send me a PM on how you did it even if you only got one working.
I have a couple of questions:
1) The video walkthrough doesn't work for me because files from the patch file are named the same as some in the original texture pack folder. I tried just replacing the files but then the texture pack does not work.
2) I am using a mac... I don't know if that changes anything
Step 1: Open Your Tekkit Minecraft.
Step 2: Go to Texture Packs
Step 3: Click Texture Pack Folder
Step 4: Drag and drop the texture pack into there
Step 5: Select Texture Pack and Start playing.

FYI: 2 issues.
1. The gui for the iron chest seems to be truncated for some reason in the 128, I had to regrab it from the ironchests patch. (Got the 'missing' gui when I opened an iron chest. All other metal chests worked fine. Copying over the one image seemed to fix it and it looked like a small strip across the bottom was missing from the graphic.)
2. The craftingtableiii gui now has two rows for leftover intermediaries, so the graphic for it needs to be updated.
