I'm running Tekkit 3 on a Mac desktop, and I really want to use Sphax with it. I don't really know what I'm doing, so if anyone knows how to install the patches on a Mac, please let me know! Thanks Very Happy

Is it even possible?

Highly unlikely as 16x and 32x are so low res that you may as well stick with default textures

Im also known as Duck5200 in some far reaches of the internetamabob

Extract this pack to a folder. Then open Photoshop (or any program that handles png transparency) and manually edit every png. There is also a script for Photoshop called Picture Processor and it speeds up this process. Also one question : Does the link for 128x texture pack for tekkit 3.0.3 v2.1 work? Because for me it doesn't! Mmf

If you downscale from 64x to 32x make sure you CHECK through all the files first. Some you do NOT want to change from 64 to 32. An example would be the interface itself, it looks terrible if you by accident process it. If you look in the original 32x pack you'll notice it's the same as the one in 64x. What you'll want to change are mob textures, terrains and particle effects, like fire etc. Also you might want to leave the gui interface for objects you interact with such as the furnace. You won't see any fps increase changing those anyway.

If you're having trouble getting Nether ores and ender chest textures to work for 3.0.3, here's an easy fix.

Open your texture.rar file.

For nether ores: go to NetherOresSprites folder file and change the terrain.png into block0.png.

For the ender chest, go to the codechicken folder and change the enderchest folder into enderstorage.

Also there's no file for the ender pouch.

If there's another texture which doesn't show I'll try to find out what the change is.
