Thank you guys, I'm really glad you like it! Very Happy

And really appreciate the way that people here support the sphax texture pack.

FuzzyPurp - I updated the links with the gauges.

Is it possible to install this into the texture pack instead of into the mod? That's usually how it works

EDIT: Hmm yeah the shields arent textured if it is in the texture pack. The mod maker should fix that. Because it is possible to do.
Also the 512x version looks VERY nice!

hum... I understand now, because of your comment I realized the fault that I made, I used a wrong instance in multi mc for testing the textures, and I based on the names of the outdated version of the mod for mc 1.5.1, now that I looked at the zip of the v1.1.6, I realized that changed the way that the mod reads the textures of the shields, now need two textures for each shield ...
sorry guys, I'll fix that and update the links =P

FullSpecs - thanks man, in x32 are better than I thought, I'll fix the the colors of the borders and add to the topic Happy

Firstly, thank you very much for taking your time and creating these textures <3. That are simply wonderful to look at Very Happy

Now to business... Asgard Shield 2.0.0 will have a slightly different texture format for the Shields to support their new Dye able ability. Such as follows. *Giant Swords are unchanged*

Example Wooded Shield and Gilded version:

item.ASShieldWood -Is the part of the shield that is dye able
item.ASShieldWood_overlay -Is the the part that is not dye able

item.ASShieldWoodGilded
item.ASShieldWoodGilded_overlay

Now with that finished you must also setup the default color for the shield to render when not dyed.
*This is important*

Asgard Shield will have a new Config file added named "ASAddon_ColorAPI" which houses all the base color in decimal format, for all the Core and Addon shields.

Config View Example:
# Configuration file

#################### # shield color override ####################

"shield color override" { I:"Biomass Shield"=13136249 I:"Diamond Shield"=3402699 I:"Ender Shield"=6314865 I:"Iron Shield"=13027014 I:"Livingmetal Shield"=12905471 I:"Nether Quartz Shield"=15065046 I:"Patchwork Shield"=44975 I:"Skull Shield"=16184280 I:"Stone Shield"=13487565 I:"Wooden Shield"=10454093 }

As mentioned before, please use the decimal color format (take your R,B,G vaules and go to places like http://www.colorhexa.com/) to convert it to demical.

Final Step.

In your Texture pack, include this folder structure.

Texture Pack.zip -config: (folder) -- ASAddon_ColorAPI.cfg (This houses your texturepack base colors)

-mods: (folder) --mod_AsgardShield: (folder) ---textures: (folder) ----gui: (folder) ----items: (folder)

I have created the color API just for wonderful texture artist like you in mind, to show my support. If you have any questions just message me Happy
