[Solved] Error Textures on Water and Stone

So I tried using both 64 and 128x versions for the new update, and I'm seeing some bizarre texture problems.

Bodies of water that aren't pools show a "NO PATH" text on the block, and stone has this nether portal/fire effect going on.

I'm not using any mods or additional game changes to Minecraft.

Install Optifine.

Just tried. Followed the instructions for mac installation to the letter.

Now all I get when I start up is a black screen, so I cant play at all.

Bare in mind if you're using Minecraft 1.3.1 and not 1.2.5 Optifine won't work as it's not been updated yet.

If you are using 1.2.5 then you've not installed it correctly.

Install Forge then Optifine.

Oh... I just generally assume everyone uses Forge mods now Tongue

If you don't know what it is it's unlikely you need it.

I have heard issues with Macs and opening jars the manual way to do it seems convoluted.

Search for a video on YouTube (unless a Mac user can help).

I've got the same problems, stone blocks are buggy, water too, and some texture are missing. I've got the 1.3.1 version of the texture pack for 1.3.1 MC on windows. Any idea to help?

I patched with the latest MCpatcher and it's ok now. Tongue

Hey there, I've been having the same problem. I had the same problem until I used MCpatcher and it sorted it out for me and now the stone doesn't have nether portal and fire pictures on it and the water has been fixed also.
