What I really would like to see in the future is more diversity in the GUIs. At the moment most of them have this wooden look, which in some cases (e.g. furnace and beacon) doesn't fit. You already did something similar with the anvil and the hopper gui and I would like to see more Winking

i know it would be a lot of work but if possible an animated texture pack would be amazing, I have been working on my own somewhat but i use the 128X all the time. keep up the great work Very Happy

The issues with missing textures for animated blocks are fixed. Redownload the texturepack to fix all of them (and to get nice looking flowers in flower-pots). Tongue

I love this mod and the new update is fantastic, however Im not keen on the new look of the glass in 1.5.
I preferred it much better when glass blocks all joined up, now it looks to cluttered.

keep up the great work Happy

You still need MCPatcher or Optifine to make the glass connected... Winking

Just FYI: Connected textures currently do not work in Optifine. He hasn't re-added support yet.

I love this pack Sphax but I'd love to see more animated textures, i think they are brilliant.

For example:

  • Soul Sand - The "faces" in the sand could make a screaming animation, i think this would give the idea of souls trapped in the sand that want to escape and seem relevant for the wither
  • Leaves - It would be nice to see a light movement, as if the leaves are bowing in the wind
  • Diamond/ Emerald Blocks/Ores - As these are precious gems i think a slight glisten to the would really make them seam rare and special

These are just a few ideas im sure people have more, I don't know how easy it would be to do these as i have no idea how to make textures or anything, but i just think these would be nice additions

Everything you've said is already planned. Happy
However, I do not make more animation currently because a lot of people are complaining that it slow down too much Minecraft. So I'll probably add more animations but in a separated "patch" except if Mojang optimizes Minecraft 1.5 for animations and HD texturepacks. Winking

Love the texture pack, the changes to the water/lava especially are great.

I must say though, I absolutely hate the animated nether. I like the idea of the nether being a disgusting/living/pulsating thing but dear god does is slow down when i enter the nether. You have to realize when animating something like netherrack that the whole entire nether is made of netherrack. Please please make the animations a separate download and have a normal unanimated (or only mildly animated i.e. items not blocks that would be in large portions of the world.

Also, while I do enjoy the realistic little cracks in the ice i preferred the old somewhat opaque plain ice from the previous version.

Hello sphax
From what I understand it seems that you are trying to make all the armours to look home-made and rough therefore it is my opinion that the beds should look like they are sewn together from all the wool colours.
If you don"t wish to add this could you possibly make a separate texture for it. It would also be nice to see more pigs maybe black and white, and possibly some chickens like a black one and a rooster.
Thank you
