I downloaded the x64 texture pack and its corresponding smp x64. Minecraft, stand alone, recognizes the texture pack and loads it but tekkit does not. How am I failing here? Any ideas? First time I've ever had a texture pack give me problems.

did you merge the zips?
<?php print("Hi"); ?>did you merge the zips?
<?php print("Hi"); ?>I did merge them.
I'm having the same issue. Merged the files too.
Tekkit makes a new folder that is similar to the .minecraft folder. It is called "techniclauncher" and is in the same folder as the .minecraft folder. You need to put the texture pack there.
.techniclauncher>technicssp>texturepacks
That's where I put my merged files. Still not working. All the new ores like copper and gems and such are all minecraft default texture like.
Well there's your problem
Tekkit runs in its own folder, separate from TechnicSSP.
Try putting it in /.techniclauncher/tekkit/texturepacks/ and let us know if it works :>
Welp....i'm an idiot. I didn't realize it until you said that, but I use Technic not Tekkit. I didn't even read the title of the thread right...I thought it said Technic.
I don't suppose you could still help me even though I can't seem to read titles right...?
I've got mine working too thanks for the help.
