So I just downloaded the 128x128 texture pack for minecraft 1.3 and when I played my game i found that the birch wood planks look normal on the top and bottom when place but the sides are white with the words 'update tp'. I then reverted back to the 1.2.5 version and birch wood planks looked fine so i think there is a problem in the texture pack for 1.3

It's a known bug. To fix it, you just need to delete the file named "terrain214.properties" in ctm folder (inside zip file).
I'm sorry but I didn't had the time to fix it after release...

Sphax before you dissapear ctm glass i think is broken too when you made the cusom ctm for grass and such that overrides ctm.png so you will have to add glass ctm in the ctm folder in the same sort of format as the sandstone ctm

Next update will have more ctm textures support and better testing... I'll probably add random netherhack, tweaked stonebricks with cracked and mossy ones and glass support with less empty spaces. Happy

i have the same problem maybe someone could patch it or just update the texture pack if they have access to do that.

Easy, just delete the "ctm.png" file because there is no "ctm" folder.

EDIT:

Disregard what I said earlier. There is actually a "ctm" folder with the file he mentioned. I was looking in the wrong place for it. to get to it, just unzip the texture pack, open the folder and look for a folder labeled "ctm", go into it and delete the "terrain214.properties" folder. Tongue

Unzip the file, go into the texture folder, there should be a folder labeled "ctm", go in there and inside of that there should be a file labeled "terrain214", delete that. That should fix the birch texture.
Hope this helps!

Ok, I have been having the same problem only I cant locate folder called ctm on zipped or unzipped file... I only found ctm.png and tried deleting it, but it doesn't work ofc. Are there any workarounds that might help?
