Completely agree, any idiot can figure out how to rescale things and cut and paste images from one place to another (if I can figure it out etc.) I expect I can figure out how to do recolours too, though quite frankly just looking at that menu scares me currently. But creating new artwork from scratch is completely beyond me!

lol Aedaeum I just mean - I have zero artistic ability, but working out how to do some of this is really just technical stuff. When PCMaster or Sparkst3r suddenly pull brand new graphics out of thin air I am in awe

I know, haha, I'm just teasing. I'm in awe as well... Artists are truly a different breed of people.

to scale down i use linear (and sometimes have to move it left and up 1 pixel in each direction) but other than that it works pretty well for me.
For the blocks.png, I noticed the pixels being off like you said... Do I have to adjust each individual square by 1px to fix it? or the whole sheet?
EDIT I'm a total noob when it comes to editing this stuff, but i'd like to be able to help out...
nope the whole sheet.
1. Make sure you only have one layer (if not right click on a layer and hit merge visible)
2. use the move tool (icon has 4 arrows) click on a item on the image (but dont click and hold, just click and release), any item as long as you dont click on a transparent area
3. Hit the left and up arrow key on your keyboard once each and it should be fixed.
Note, it doesnt always make it off by a pixel in each direction, just sometimes...
