[Solved] Version of BDcraft that doesn't require MC patcher?

I like to play on other servers, and I have had trouble getting on to my server and my friends servers with MCpatcher installed. I was able to successfully install the 128x128 version of BD craft without using MC patcher and I don't have any trouble at all logging on anywhere. The problem is that there are just a handful of textures that require the patcher, namely (for whatever reason) stone blocks, flowing water, and mobs on fire. There may be a few more but this is what I have found so far.

The vast majority of the textures work just fine and look fantastic, with no performance issues (and I have a fairly modest PC Happy ). I would really appreciate a version of BD craft that had no textures which required MC patcher. Only a very small number of textures currently require it as is.

Also, if somebody could help me manually delete the textures that need MC patcher I would really appreciate it. I could live with BD patcher being just a little buggy if stone blocks didn't look so odd.

Thanks for all you do! This fix would be awesome and appreciated Happy.

Well MCPatcher shouldn't stop you connecting, but either try Optifine or you'll have to downgrade to 32x or 16x instead.

There's no way to use an HD pack without using an HD patcher such as MCPatcher or Optifine.

The x32 version doesn't require MC patcher? Might try that instead.

I think I am just ignorant as to how this works. How come most of the textures work without the patcher and only a few fail? Is there not a way to get around that?

When I installed MC patcher I got a bad login failure when I tried to log onto my server. Might be unrelated, I could try it again. I would really strongly prefer not to use third party programs if there is anyway way to get around it though.

32x is spottily supported natively by MC.

128x sort of works because of that spotty HD support, but it will fail on a lot of textures.

Optifine is a lot better than MCPatcher however and if you really want to enjoy PureBDcraft it's best at 128x (well 512x but most computers can't handle that) which you'll only achieve with proper HD support.

Thats virtually impossible all HD texture packs such as bdcraft require a HDpatcher (e.g. MCpatcher)
You may want to try the 32x version as it does not require this as it is supported by minecraft because 32x and 16x are classed as HD
