Don't worry about it, I know how to do it ;)
Okey, but what do you think of renaming a cookie in an anvil to 'Oreo' or 'Biscuit'?

Could you add variants for the diamond sword? like you did for the armour set, so Obsidian, Zanite, etc.

Love this addon! :star:

What would be VERY happy is if your Optifine names and items you have already done matched as replacements for ItemBound. ItemBound *does* have an option to insert new loot tables that alter drops such as with fishing (new fish added) or with armor and various objects using the same method as this project.

The down-side to ItemBound is that it is based on the 16x16 "default" maps. It would be a very happy situation if the artwork that already exists for BDCraft (such as bows, weapons and armor) could simply be recolored and reused for the ItemBound items listed. Of course, this does tread on ItemBound's idea, and a "full" replacement with BDCraft inspired objects takes the thunder out of SixFootBlue's project.

But my impression is SixFootBlue wants credit for the concept and item list. If someone wants the *loot tables*, they will *have* to download the file for the loot tables even if they don't want to use the resource pack. I don't know... but maybe EskiMojo14(?) could talk with SixFootBlue and see about some mutually favorable cross-promotion that benefits everyone? This project is already treading down the "ItemBound" resource pack path. EVENTUALLY, if nothing else is done, I will end up hacking my own version of "Item Bound for Spax" pack for personal use. But much the better if the easy stuff at least could be worked out for the benefit of everyone.

Romaq, your post makes it sound like ItemBound has a monopoly on using this particular feature.

Regardless, what you're requesting is a texture patch and doesn't really fall in to ExOF's scope.

If you do make a patch to support ItemBound please feel free to post it in the Release section when you're done.

I apologize. It isn't that ItemBound has a monopoly on the Optifine feature, they just happen to make extensive use of it.

Quote of EskiMojo14: "Ideas welcome, but no promise of implementation."

ItemBound has a ton of ideas organized in useful way. The resource pack for those ideas is based on the 16 bit "Vanilla". If EskiMojo14 finds any of those ideas useful for expanding ExOF's offerings, that would be a very happy thing for me as I prefer the BDCraft visuals to the "Vanilla" based ones.

I will see what I can do based on the ExOF resource pack and ItemBound's naming conventions towards a patch.

can one also have a 1.8 variant? Because of Labymod

EDIT

Not trying to necro or bother y'all or anything but it looks like some of these proposed changes, even form the original post, have never been added. It'd be really cool to see the differently colored Elytra as well as some of the suggestions other members have suggested. On the topic of that, it'd be cool to be able to rename any kind of Hoe as a scythe of that material.

It will be cool if the debug stick had a different skin, like a wand or a stick with gears (or something that makes look like a command block)
