[Game Bug|Bedrock] Crashing / world's not loading after latest Bedrock update
The latest update of Minecraft Bedrock has caused quite a few issues for some reason.
Currently we suggest trying to turn the resolution of the textures used by following the steps in our Troubleshooting Guide: help-centre-f4/bedrock-troubleshooting- ... t6976.html
Realms users may struggle to get the settings to stick for some reason.
This issue is entirely on Mojang's side. There's no update or magic we can do to fix the issue.

I've submitted this particular issue as a bug over at Mojang yesterday and finally figured out it was PureBDcraft after some troubleshooting.

Hey, I installed a BD texture pack recently pn my xbox one and I went onto the game. On my usual survival world, I activated the texture packs and the UI texture pack and went to load onto the world.
After a few hints on the loading screen, the screen goes black and then kicks me out onto the home screen.
I’m not recieving any error messages, it just closes on me.
Can someone help me out?

So it looks like with this update Minecraft is now trying to load purebdcraft at 256x resolution which will cause ps4 and xbox one to crash.
Setting resolution down to 128x or lower will allow you to load into a world. Curiously though there is no longer a warning message and limiter stopping you from setting it at 256x like in previous releases.

I have tried the above 'fix method' on a xbox one and have tried 64x, 128x and 256x. Every single option I have selected crashes the game to the xbox home Menu. I've tried doing this on both worlds on realms and worlds stored offline and it seems to crash every time no matter what texture resolution I have it set to. I have also tried reinstalling the game and the texture pack and unfortunately getting the same result. By the looks of things, this pack needs to be updated as its not compatible with the latest version of minecraft.
It's a confirmed bug by Mojang with the latest update that they have said will be fixed whenever the next update of the game is out.Benderew wrote: ↑22 Nov 2020, 11:52I have tried the above 'fix method' on a xbox one and have tried 64x, 128x and 256x. As far as packs go there's nothing to update, and no fix we could really apply anyway as the game seems to be ignoring memory limits currently and selecting resolutions that just will not work with the whatever system people are playing on.
If you crash on every resolution setting that's very peculiar, but the documented fix (linked earlier in the thread) has worked for everyone else so far.
