Hi,

basically when you destroy flowers or grass a default texture blinks for some reason. Also while breaking some blocks (Crafting station) there are some weird stuff on the sides.

OT: Does the default pack contain bumpmaps for shaders?

What version of the pack are you using for what version of MC?

I don't see any issues as you're describing in MC1.8 and haven't seen them in prior versions, either.

The flashing textures on double high plants is a Minecraft bug in MC1.8, however they don't go default, they just use the peony texture instead...

As for bumpmaps, no, none are included.

Doors also flash when destroyed. I think it's because the data value is reset on destroy, making the display of adjacent block look like the data value 0

Have you tried Cubik?

Oh yes, I completely forgot - CLOUDS.

It's like they are fighting another texture for visibility, if you get me. Plus half of it is visible, half not.

Before, I'd ask if I need MCPatcher or OptiFine, but MCPatcher isn' coming out soon, and I haven't tried OptiFine.

I'm using 1.8 launcher released version, x64, and stacked BDMusic, on BDSounds, on BDCraft. Tried Grunge, but, yeah, stuff happens...

Every possible graphical setting is ON, or on maximum ASIDE FROM RENDER DISTANCE @ 20.

PS: Holy crap, Sphax himself answered to my post 8)

PSS: I think I've seen shaders with your texpack, so... how do I get it working?

The clouds have always looked a bit odd, because Sphax uses a very high resolution cloud texture which doesn't really work in MC.

He generally recommends that you have the clouds on "Fast" setting when available. Otherwise you just have to live with them look a bit odd.

I do not see them flashing or "fighting" for position though. They just look a bit broken.

Observe how clouds behave.

PS: 256x version, with 3gigs allocated memory.

So, uhm, will these be fixed with new release of BDCraft, or is it a MC1.8 thing here to stay? Perhaps OptiFine or MCPatcher will be needed?

There's nothing that the pack can fix.

As has already been pointed out the texture flickering to other textures when breaking stuff is a MC bug likely related to data values. Mojang would have to fix it.

As for the clouds, mine don't flicker at 256x nor 64x.

Thought so on Mojang fixing data values, and "hmm" on flickering.

But they still look broken, the clouds, to you?
