I noticed that some stained glass particles are not showing when breaking the corresponding block as shown on the video below. The affected blocks are: White, Red, Yellow, Lime, Green, Cyan, Blue, Purple, Magenta, Pink stained glass.
For some reason, Light Gray, Gray, Black, Brown, Orange and Light Blue stained glass are not affected. The normal glass is also unaffected.

As the game is responsible for generating the block breaking particles there's not much we can do about this.

Have you tested it without a resourcepack to make sure it isn't a general game bug?

Interesting.

I suggest you file a Bug Report on Mojang's official tracker, as I said before the game itself is responsible for generating the particles: https://bugs.mojang.com

Please post a link to your bug report once you make it :)

This appears to have been fixed in the game at some point.

It's interesting to once again, in that bug report, see Mojang staff not taking any responsibility for bugs in the game that occur due to the badly implemented HD support. "It's not our fault, it has to be the third party content that we, Mojang, certify as working."
