Hello, I know this issue existed for a while.
I don't know if it has been fixed someday or not before coming up again.

But I wanted to share that lot of people speak about it on Mojang Jira at this link:
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-91022

I bought both VanillaBDCraft and PureBDCraft, both are making the game crash.
If it can help you to identify the problem, I tried to use a "Java to Bedrock" resource pack converter for testing purpose and the resulting VanillaBDCraft mcpack isn't making the game crash in x128 or x256 resolution.

Maybe a lead to identify the problem?
Tell me if you need any more information regarding my tests. I will be glad to help you resolve this.

No real reason why it would crash if you have a good computer. Nothing we can do about it anyway.

The game is meant to handle these sorts of things itself.

I have a decent computer with 16 GB RAM and good graphic card so I can only agree with you: It should not crash.
Everything worked well in 1.14, it started to crash at World loading since 1.16 Nether update.

I don't have any explanation either about why it does not crash when using a converted version of the pack.
I also tried some other very high resolution packs (x512 and x1024) installed from a mcpack file, it did not crash.

Can it be "Bedrock store" related?
As you can see if you follow my previous link, I'm not the only one having this issue since the update.
No need to say I also tried to uninstall/reinstall the game and the packs, nothing changed.

I understand you are as much disappointed as me regarding this issue but if you have any workaround or information in mind that could help it would be cool, you can also share directly on the Mojang bugreport platform if you think it can reveal a game internal issue.
