[Bug] Redstone direction/connection

Hi guys,

this is probably already known, but after I searched your forum, facebook, twitter and upcoming changes and couldnt find a statement, I thought i post it nevertheless.

Since snapshot (I believe) 14w17a the redstone texture is buggy. Switching to default texture pack fixing it and after searching through the Mojang bug tracker (where there is no bug known caused by minecraft), it probably is caused by Sphax.

The redstone texture seems to be rotated 90 degree to the left/right. But only for single connections, double connected or "corner" redstone works fine.

There are two pictures in the spoiler, one with Sphax and one with default minecraft textures.

Isn't it nice when Mojang make such minor changes? I wonder how they justified rotating /assets/minecraft/textures/blocks/redstone_dust_line.png 90 degrees.

Anyway, quick fix is to open the above file in something such as GIMP (or another image editor) and rotate it clockwise 90 degrees. Also to maintain correct shading you can also flip it on the vertical i.e. left to right as well, but that's neither here nor there.

Ah, I dont care that much, no big redstone project in the pipeline and even if, quick switch to deafult to lay down the wire isnt much of a deal until Sphax finds time to fix it.
