I noticed that mobs that have edited sounds, like the villager, when they are far away, they listen as if they were next to you and sometimes it is a bit annoying.
What should happen is that if the mob is too far away, it will be heard lower.
Is there any solution for this?

This is apparently an issue if sounds have more channels than the equivalent vanilla sound (i.e. stereo vs mono).
I haven't confirmed this specifically in the pack, just going off of checking Mojang bug reports and this tweet:
Bartek Bok wrote:While we are on topic of resource packs, please make sure your custom sounds have same number of channels as vanilla ones - otherwise you may have problems with volume and position (see OpenAL specification, section 5.3.4 for reason)

So if you want to fix it yourself you'll need to use something like Audacity to convert any relevant sounds to mono (if they are not already).
I'll check the sounds in the pack, but there's no ETA on a fix (if one is indeed needed).
