Is anyone in the midst of creating a lengthy tutorial series on how to create comic looking textures for Minecraft?

Not just I, but I'm fairly confident there's a vast amount of other people who'd love to contribute by "expanding" PureBDcraft, but just don't know how.

I'm fully aware of Sparkle's and Sillyman's tutorials. I'm not sure whether both have discontinued or not... I haven't heard of anything recently... but all in good time.

PS: Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. :P

The best way to learn is just to look at Sphax's textures (and actually take them in mentally so you don't make silly mistakes like lots of other people seem to -- i.e. light comes from the top left and you shouldn't be using "fuzzy" shadows) and look at all the PSD files that are available on the forum already.

You can, of course always ask for help. I've been doing this for a long time, but I never had any help at the start 2.5 years ago... I just persevered and slowly picked up tricks along the way.

I doubt anyone will do more tutorials. They seem to be too much work when it's easier just to give feedback and tips ;)

I get the feeling I'm ambitious. I might start on some if I ever get to grips with comic texturing. :)
... and thank you!
