since the latest sphax update there has been a format change as to how sphax has been laid out ,but the old patches that used to work on older versions no longer work due to the new layout.....ergo many patches are no longer usable such as the minions mod ,soulcages, and even tinkers construct. I hope that this issue can be resolved soon... maybe put in a tutorial video on the new layout if im just getting it wrong.. :-/

Perhaps if you read this it may help you.
Look under the bit that says 1.7 for how to patch the latest textures.

And by the way Tinkers Construct has been 1.7 compatible for over a month now. Get your facts straight before making comments.

My deepest apologies Novamanga I was looking at an older outdated version of that particular mod patch on the old user forum, and I found the actual mod patch for it.My problem ,however; is not with this mod it is just the change in the way the 1.6.4 layout has been changed ,and therefore some of my favorite patches no longer have an easy to install layout such as, it lacks the assets part of the layout. The soulcages mod patch no longer works ,because the majority of the items in it have changed, but the minions mod once did have a working 1.6.4 patch.....Sphax's layout changed after the resource pack update so it no longer works for me...

As you've already stated you're visiting the old forum to look for patches.

Try searching this forum or using the Patch Index to find them.

If a mod isn't up-to-date post in its thread for an update or if its not available on the new forum at all post a Request.

As far as updating patches yourself from older versions you just need to employ some basic common sense. You look inside the mod zip/jar and look over its file structure and then take the old patch and replicate that same structure inside your resourcepack.
