Okay this is getting ridiculous the pack has been out for supports for just under 7 months. when is it getting released and when is the bedrock version getting the update. it should not be taking this long
You realize they probably don't make enough money doing this to survive off of, probably have day jobs and potentially families. Could you be more entitled and privileged behind your keyboard begging for handouts? Give the dev's a break. People like you make projects like this less fun for dev's and helps kill their reasoning for keeping things like BDCraft alive. They're doing what they can when they can, and most here don't give a dime for their effort. Have some more respect from those you're asking for something from.
They have already released for supporters. it has been said that it will be released to the public after a couple months. its been over a couple months. I have nothing but respect for creators that do this. I guess the bedrock isn't really on their end moreso on microsofts end. So maybe I shouldn't have added the microsoft part. But other than that it shouldn't take this long. I support a game developer and the game hasn't had an update in 2 years. But I still support them. So before you assume that I don't respect them get your facts first
Facts were provided by your quoted comment. Nothing more is necessary. Just be more respectful in how you talk to someone providing you something for free/for practically nothing. Something which takes a lot of work that you have to put zero effort in. Speak less like someone that thinks they are entitled to handouts and someone else's time and work, then those misconceptions on what you're trying to imply wouldn't happen. If you support them as you say then do so with your speech as well your implied practice so others wouldn't feel the need to step in and ask you to check your privilege at the door. If that offends or makes you feel the need to defend yourself further instead of causing you to self reflect on the reasoning and failings that triggered my response, then frankly that just speaks volumes about yourself and your concept of accountability. I just ask you show them the respect in practice that you state you have for them. Regardless this conversation is over, I wont further risk a ban here for being confrontational regardless of reasoning. Have a good day.

I assume "7 months" was meant to be "weeks"? ;)

We have no real strict times for Supporter exclusives to end, it's generally sometime after the Bedrock release is out.

The Bedrock release is being delayed because Microsoft put in automated systems to accept updates. That automate system is basically "are all the blocks and items textures done?" and that's more or less it. It doesn't take in to account textures that are unused by either a resourcepack or Mojang, so we had to stub a load of textures...

Besides that, that rule means the UI pack is entirely erroneous with the automated system, however we've had a UI pack since BDcraft was invited as one of the first packs on the marketplace when it was launched... So, Microsoft don't want to manually "ingest" our updates (even though they did offer this time, Sphax asked them to do so, and then they haven't... which could mean they actually can't?), and we don't want to lose the UI pack option (because some users simply don't want it in Bedrock).

The last thing we heard from Microsoft was that they don't know what to do. I suggested that they add an option in-game that users can disable custom UIs in general (which in my opinion is a good accessibility option, and more choice is always good). That way we can just merge the UI pack in to the main pack and the automated system can just work as normal without manual intervention. That was on the 31st of August. There has been no update about it since...

Obviously this isn't a fun situation for us to be in... but when an entity like Microsoft are the sticking point, and resolving the issue isn't profitable to them, resolutions come painfully slowly.

I've noticed no one asking about VanillaBDcraft. I've been a long time fan of PureBDcraft since Minecraft was java only and (I think) the End wasn't even a thing. This has been my first time being around during a relatively recent MC update and I decided to try out the VanillaBDcraft and fell in love with it. I was wondering whether there will be an update for it soon or if it is still a ways off. Regardless, I've been using it with no troubles so far and y'all have been doing amazing work for years that I appreciate greatly. Keep being awesome! ^.^

7months? Nope!
It came out for supporters 21 July 2023 so that's not even 2 months yet.

Forgot to respond to this sooner, but the update is nearly ready.

Just trims and some UI stuff left.

VanillaBDcraft for Java is available as a temporary exclusive for Supporters.

Hopefully it'll be available fairly quickly on Bedrock, too :fingers_crossed:

We finally have news about the PureBDcraft release for Bedrock.

Microsoft have stated we need to make the pack in to a "bundle". Which will be the main pack and the UI.

The old texturepack will be discontinued, and they state anyone who bought it will be told about the migration and receive the new bundle for free.

So we're going to work on that and hopefully it'll be up very soon :fingers_crossed:

Not sure why it took them 3 months and an internal meeting to tell us this, but there you go :man_shrugging:

Thanks for your patience :hugging:

Just FYI, VanillaBDcraft will just have its UI added in to the main pack w/o the "bundle" migration change, and GrungeBDcraft has no UI so doesn't have the issue (but is still being worked on texture-wise anyway).
