Hi, I wanted to make a texture pack for a new modpack that has recently come out (yesterday). I was wondering how you guys created your texture pack (of more than 16 pixels). Can you possibly tell me how to create one please? Also, if you could let me know how you do the random mobs and the moving water and lava, that would be amazing! Thank you.

You get an image editor such as PhotoShop or GIMP and make a canvas of the relevant size (e.g. 512x512, 256x256, etc). For armour you multiply it up in size. So to get a 512x armour size you'd multiply the dimensions by 32, 256x is by 16, 128 is by 8, etc.

No texture should be bigger than 1024x1024 except armours or mobs because they're texture sheets and get manipulated by the game engine in certain ways which means they rarely break the dimension rules.

Then once you've made the texture you save it in the correct file structure.

Rinse and repeat until all the files are done.
