So yeah. New forum. Pretty cool.
But I have a few suggestions to try and make it better. Or at least from my point of view.
Also woot I'm an artist. :P
That reminds me.. What will happen to our badges?

The thing I liked about the old forum was it's simplicity of navigation. But in this one, it's a nightmare. Buttons aren't where I would expect them to be. :( For example, messages. When you get to the PM page, everything is everywhere. I was used to clicking the "New Message" at the top of the content area and getting to write a message. Simples. But now the button is half way down a list. I just don't find it very intuitive and this is my pet peeve with PHPBB, it has everything. And not everything is needed. It's well just erm... there. Lets hope this spoiler likes the big image.

Would it be possible to remove some of the pointless stuffs in the post writing section that may never be used? Or at lest rearrange it to be more like the old one?

Also this is a very small thing but I think it made a big difference. Floaty spoilers!
Image from FTB pack page(FIrst page I thought would have spoilers on)

The spoilers floated above the page as such and looked as it it was packed inside that red ribbon at the top. I really loved that feature. Would it be possible to bring it back?

Cute smileys. These ones. I don't know which pack you used for the icons but its by the same person

Could you replace the default PHPBB ones with these cute ones again please? I really liked them!

{More to come. Just want to save the page before it deletes itself on me}
EDIT: Images are borked and wont post :E EDIT EDIT: Works if I just post the links
EDIT2: Ooooh I do like the topic page though

These are the emoticon equivelents or close in order. I had to take a damn picture to show these because the images are borked >:(

Some aren't equivelent so I put in the ones that I felt needed to exist

Well obviously some of it has to be a learning curve. It's pointless Drupalizing this software. It's got about 500 times more features :P

As for the "Compose Message" link. I can see your point there. That's just a thing of editing the template.

Images work for me... maybe the permissions haven't been set...

Hmm whenever I try to use the img tags it wont post and gives me the error

"It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."
For any image at all even a 16x16 image, an emoticon, a 512x image or a 8192x image.
And it also broke your image too it wouldnt let me repost it.

I know it would be ridiculous to try make this look like the old one, but some of the look and feel needs to brought over. I miss some of the features already and it's only been a few hours since I used it last.

Hmm, I don't error if I use the WYSIWIG editor it just won't post the image :|

Go to your CP and change the posting options to not use the WYSIWIG editor and see if you can post images then:

Yes, I wanted post merging soooo much. People get so lonely to have to talk to themselves :P

If you have any other ideas just post them here.

Give it a little while for the general usage to get going and then we'll see about tweaks and touches. Find any other bugs first me thinks :P

Well I'm glad the images work again! I like images. It's easier to show what I am talking about otherwise I sound like I'm talking nonesense.
Although, I am actually starting to like this forum. Needs a bit of living in for a few days to iron it out a bit first though.

Lazy image editing is lazy.
This is what I would change about the PM editor.

I replaced the default PHPBB smilies by the smilies used in the old forum. I love them too much more. ;)
