I'm currently working on a tool which is already quite fun to play with. It allows you to customize a BDcraft Fig with items, armor, skin and cape...
Many features are already planned but I would love to get your feedback and ideas on this little tool/toy.

Test it and have fun: https://ws.obeeware.com/3d/custom_bdcraft_fig

Do not hesitate to take screenshots of your creations.

Planned features:
  • Head orientation selection (choice between right, center, left, up, bottom)
  • HD Skins selection
  • Base texture selection
  • Upload of Skin
  • Upload of Cape
  • Export to 3D Printing Service
  • Gold Armor pieces
  • Diamond Armor pieces
  • Chainmail Armor pieces
  • Leather Armor pieces
  • Option to select the shape of the head (Cube or Cube+bevels)
  • Option to flatten or not the hat to the skin
Done:
  • Cape texture selection
  • Item selection
  • Support of more than one Character pose (more to come)
  • Support of Minecraft Skins
  • Automatically detect Hat and flatten it to the skin
  • Automatic rescale of Minecraft Skin to prevent blurry render
  • Option to add/remove Iron Armor
  • Option to add/remove Item (temporarily randomly selected)
  • Option to add/remove Cape (temporarily random)
  • Shadow rendering on white ground
  • Controls to select point of view

This is great! I think it needs something to change body part sizes or something to recognise a hat layer on a skin. Also, I think it might need some kind of option yes/no box thingy for having the head be a cube or have the curved edges, as it doesn't look too good on my skin :3

Infact it automatically detect if a Hat is used or not and flatten it to the skin. I'll maybe add an option to flatten the hat or not later... I add it to the Todolist. ;)

Maybe you could add some new items, like a fishing rod or the Hoes. Also, a Cobblestone pedestal is an idea.

Thanks for your ideas. ;)

I'll add more content after the main features are done first. And the 2 next features are the following ones:
1) Upload of Skin (SD or HD as you want
2) Possibility to buy the 3D printed BDcraft Fig.

Those are huge features. ;)
