After a loooong wait... GrungeBDcraft has finally been updated to Minecraft 1.7.2.

In this version, many blocks have been redone, most of the blocks have been tweaked to get more details, the paintings have been "Grungified" and new blocks have been added.
As a result: Most (if not all) solid blocks are available in Grunge version.

To use GrungeBDcraft, be sure to add both "PureBDcraft" AND "GrungeBDcraft". Grunge must be above Pure.
You can also add BDcraft Sounds Pack to get a full new experience. ;)

Note: If you use MCpatcher or Optifine, be sure to disable CTM and/or delete the "MCpatcher" folder in your PureBDcraft version (inside ZIP file), to ensure best performance and better "Grunge" experience.

Do not hesitate to post your feedback, ideas and bugs here.

ENJOY!

It should... Maybe because you tried to download it while it was still uploading... :)
Retry? :)

Nope, downloaded it 3 times now all say they're 130MB, none opening.

But besides that, in 256x, the leaves_acacia_opaque, leaves_big_oak_opaque and leaves_oak_opaque are oddly blurry compared compared to their transparent counterparts ;)

It's also very pretty, but I prefer the PureBD style. :)

GrungeBDcraft 512x is ~180MB... And I checked it online. You should retry later (tomorrow for example). It maybe need sync on CreeperHost side for mirroring in the cloud. ;)

The 256x chest and double chests look like they're 64x. It doesn't look right.

Edit: The 512x download is working for me HanFox. Must be you.

When I load 128x in any world, it gives me a crash.
I think it has something to do with the moon phases texture, because that's in the crash log.

Here's the full one for ya:

Yea, I tried it at about 2am and it worked (6 hours before your post).

Considering Sphax said "try later" you'd hope it would work in 8 hours time ;)

Although funnily...

I can't actually open the 128x textures with 7zip or Windows Explorer. It says the compression method is unsupported (which suggests that download is corrupt). 22.2MB downloaded. Tried numerous times and cleared the cache. (this isn't the same as I was getting with 512x so "waiting" won't fix it).

That may explain the crash if that png is corrupt.

The PNG was 2x times bigger than it should be for 128x res so I dowscaled it and I'm currently reuploading the Pack. This should fix the issue.
