First update of Cubik now available: 0.5 Beta

Get the new version on the Cubik Page: Cubik PRO / Cubik LITE

Cubik version 0.5 beta

This first update is a huge one: A big Refactoring has been done in the code. A big part of the program has been redone to allow a lot more new features soon in upcoming updates.
That's why some of the basics of Cubik have changed like how to move the camera, how is displayed the Focus and the possibility to resize the window.

Cubik 0.5 beta is not "just" a simple refactoring: that version has a lot of nice new features for PRO version AND some for LITE + tons of Bug fixing (but new ones will come up probably)! I really hope you'll all enjoy it and have fun with Cubik.

I remind you that you can ask for support in the Cubik Forum (not in this thread). We'll be happy to help you. Also, do not hesitate to post one or more screenshots or JSON files you made with Cubik, that would be amazing infact. :)

Please note:
Some users had a Malware Alert while downloading Cubik in Chrome or a "Unknown Publisher" alert on launch with Windows8: Cubik executable file (EXE) is now signed with a certificate from BDcraft/oBeeware. This should solve some issues and/or give more details about the file after download. If you still have an error in Chrome, this is a false positive and you just need to click on "Ignore" message.

How do I get the update? Do I have to re-download Cubix, or does the software download it?

As stated above, you'll need to download the new version on the Cubik download page.
That will be the same behavior for future updates too ;)

Are there currently any plans to create a Mac version of Cubik? Lite or Pro, doesn't matter, I would even pay with my severed right hand. :D

Not for the moment. That would take too much time and I'm alone on this project... Sorry Mac users
