I'm running Optifine 1.16.3 or regular 1.16.3 at times. I have a Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of DDR4 @ 3600 MHz, and an RX 570 with 8 GB of VRAM. I've allocated 4 GB to Optifine and Regular 1.16.3 using the in-launcher prompt in the editing area of each installation.

I downloaded the 512x version, and regardless of how much RAM I give MC (gone up to 12 GB) it gives me the "Reload Fail" prompt, I'm sure you know the one I'm talking about. I know quite well that the equipment I have should be MORE than enough to run this if I run Triple A titles at high-ultra settings, and I'm only running a 900p monitor.

I'm using the 512x version of BDCraft under the 1.16.x prompt given.

I'd really like some help with this because I've been looking around forums and the two constant answers are "not enough RAM" or "not enough VRAM" and I am relatively confident that I have more than enough to utilize the 512x version. Thank you.

That message isn't about video memory or system memory, it's about the size of textureatlas that the graphics card can handle.

Your graphics card's maximums texture size is 16,384 x 16,384, but a 512x pack needs a larger one than that (which currently only Nvidia 10 series or better cards support).

You'll need to use 256x instead.

That's rather surprising to me. Thank you for the quick response.

I am shocked that an RX 570 cannot handle that, however, it's understandable. I'm planning on upgrading to a 1660 soon anyway, or saving up for an RTX 3070 (though it'd be overkill for my system).
