Cannot use 1.13 texture pack or addons. Advice needed.

So I have installed the new 1.13 texture pack and the add-ons into my Minecraft game, when I go into the resource pack tab in "Options" they are all there, I move them across to the "selected resources pack" area and press done. the game freezes for a second as you would expect it to do when loading a texture pack but then it reverts back to the default texture pack. any reason it could be doing this? I already have extra RAM allocated to the game so i doubt its to do with that. However, if you know any reason why please tell me.

It's not just RAM that can cause it, but it's usually the main issue. The other issue can be VideoRAM.

Without your latest.log from your logs folder, which is found alongside the resourcepacks folder, it's hard to give a definitive answer.

What do i need to look for in the Log as i have it up now.

You can just upload it to somewhere like Dropbox and I can look at it for you.
