Hi guys,

I've installed Sphax BD Purecraft with the Tekkit SMP Addon pack (links Below) and everything seems to be working fine. The Home screen and inventory Gui's are all correct all the mod packs seem to have their Sphax textures running no problem...

However, when I join a multiplayer Server, my Minecraft Skin doesn't load.. nor does any other players online either. I'm not sure how I go about fixing this.. I've also tried to download my Skin and install my custom skin into the texture pack, but that resulted in image tearing and it looked awful...

See below for my skin when I'm connected to a server.

See Below if I change the Char.png file with my Custom Skin

Any help would be hugely appreciated, with many thanks in advance...

I was also wondering how the install process differs on MAC as I have a younger sister who plays this and the Texterpack doesn't seem to port over to MAC as easy..?

If you're not seeing player skins it's an issue with you connecting to the Mojang servers to get the skin, or you're somehow playing in offline mode instead. The texture pack wouldn't effect that.

As for installing the packs on Mac it's the exact same process as any other computer. If you have trouble zipping files on Mac, just copy the prepared zip from your computer instead.

Hi HanFox,

Really appreciate your rapid response!

So Turns out it's the way Minecraft loads the Skins. They used to use the old UUID way of grabbing the skins but Mojang has stopped supporting that feature for older versions of Minecraft.

There is a client-side fix for this in the form of a Minecraft CurseForge Mod

The link to which can be found below:

Here is the Mod working as described grabbing my Skin.
Fixed with the Lumy Skin Patch.png
With RE to the MAC install...

see I thought it'd be that simple but when I initially tried e-mailing the Zip file to myself to download on the MAC and then copied it over to the relevant Texturepack folder of the Tekkit Install.

There were a few errors with the Texture pack, mainly the Gui and background not changing and none of the Inventory Gui's was being displayed either, just the vanilla ones...

the Mobs and Blocks textures were working but not the Menu and Gui ones.

I apologise for being unable to provide screenshots for these as the MAC in question is at My Fathers House.
