Different Cobblestone Textures (Biome Specific?) 1.13.2

There is a difference in colour between the cobblestone block and stairs in my base (in an acacia biome).
The block is a significantly darker colour to the stairs.

However in a birch forest, for example, they are the same colour, i.e. the block is the default colour. I assume this is because there is a feature which changes the cobblestone colour (and possibly other blocks) depending on which biome it's in but hasn't been implemented for the stairs yet.

Is there a way to turn this off for now, until the stairs have this feature because i like the idea but not how my build looks right now.

That looks like something is missing from the OptiFine's Custom Colour file.

The easiest way to fix it is to go in your Options and find "Custom Colors" and disable it.

In future versions of PureBDcraft this should hopefully be fixed properly.
