help fps lag no idea why

i just re-installed ftb and put in the sphax ftb pack in and got lag down to 1 fps and it use to work i usually get like 30 fps fine but now after resetting it up i get 1 and i havent changed anything but im not getting the performance i need also when i f3 it says that tick is taking 95% of the resources so i dunno whats goin on thx for the help

You may need to give FTB more memory.

If that doesn't work make sure your Java is up-to-date. If it is you may just have to use a lower resolution of the textures.

it went perfectly when i used the pack for 1.4.6 of mc is there some kind of bug with the 1.4.7 pack

No, it's just that as the mods change so does the amount of power they use.

You could however look on the FTB forums to find out how to increase the PermSize it uses. It may reduce lag.
