Why is the state of the subject visible only in the hand, but in the HUD it does not change? Does it somehow turn on?

You shouldn't necro other threads (especially ones that are already marked Solved, even more so ones that have nothing to do with your issue).

The Damaged Items pack works fine for me. It's a vanilla feature that's been around for a very long time. I have no idea why your hotbar isn't updating.

Have you tried reloading the game or just trying it with the base pack and the Damaged Items addon?

Can you make sure that PewDiePie thing isn't interfering? I suspect it's just sounds, but it's not fair to say you've tried with just the two packs when you obviously have another there.

Removed pewdiepie pack, restart minecraft and launcher, off Shaders.
with 256x dosen't work too

The only thing left is that whatever other mods you have may be interfering somehow (you have a minimap).

I have no issues in MC1.14.4 with OptiFine and those 2 packs.
