Hello.

I'm new to the forums here, i've been using this texture pack for years now, always have, always will.

I'm having an issue with a patch for the base texture pack -
Basically i want to add the Millenaire patch to the pack. So, i download the 128x patch listed in the forum.

Normally i would just extract the contents of the zip, into the sphax texture pack zip, and everything would work fine (At least that is all i've ever had to do previously).

I do have the Backpacks patch working fine, i know there was a new path for that which ended up being inside the "assets" folder instead of the parent folder. I've tried putting the Millenaire one there also, but with no reward.

It's probably a really simple fix i'm totally missing, any help would be great.

Sorry if this is a waste of time, Mac.

It's possible the entire structure of the mod changed if it got updated to MC1.6.

If you can't figure it out yourself you'll need to make a Request.

I re-read the forum topic incase i missed anything. The guy updating the pack states the change in texture sprites and that they need to be updated, and there are installation instructions.

Show
****NEW VERSION INFO****
The release of Minecraft version 1.5.0 has changed the way sprites are handled. Sprite sheets have been replaced by individual sprites for each item and block. The good news is that now the texture pack will not need to be updated every time a new item or block is added to Millenaire, instead updates will simply occur when I add new sprites to the pack.
The bad news is that converting to the new formula will take a bit longer as every sprite has to be culled from the spritesheet and resized in the case of the 64x version.
Additionally installation of the different versions will change so make sure and read the installation directions.

  • Download the Base Pack in 128x (or 64x when available)
  • Extract contents of the zip file into Sphax PureBDCraft texturepack
  • If you prefer Sparkst3r's alternates download his Alternate Pack
  • Extract contents into Sphax PureBDCraft texturepack and overwrite files
Yet, at least to me, this isn't very clear. I need to know which folders need to go where, because a simple extract and drop into the PureBDCraft zip is not working.

I'll keep an eye on his post and see if it gets updated on how exactly to do the texture addition.
I'm also going to make almost the same post on the Millenaire forum to see if they know what the problem is their end.

Thanks again, Mac.
