Minecraft crashes after I install texture pack????

I downloaded PureBDcraft texture pack because I thought it was good, but when I downloaded it and tried running it ,Minecraft starts up and it shows the word "Mojang" but then it freezes and an error code comes up. I reported this error code to Mojang.com but they said they couldn't help me with this. So does anybody know the solution to this issue because I'm starting to become Desperate. I haven't played Minecraft in about 3 Months!!!!

Delete your "bin" folder in your ".minecraft" folder. Delete all the texturepacks in your "texturepacks" and "resourcepacks" folder. Then launch the Minecraft launcher.
That should fix your problem by redownloading Minecraft.
Then you'll be able to redownload PureBDcraft at a lower resolution and put it in the "resourcepacks" folder (for Minecraft 1.6)
